National Cinema Museum of Turin


The Cinema Museum from 2000 is located inside the Mole Antonelliana , symbol of the city of Turin.

The visit to the Museum of Cinema is a walk around the dome of the Mole: 3200 meters of exhibition, developed in 25 meters high.

The installation was recently renovated and equipped with a new multimedia guide that accompanies through scientific and educational activities and illustrates one of the richest and important heritage in the world.

The tour lasts at least three hours and is suitable for children. 
You can combine a visit to the Museum of Cinema with the panoramic lift of the Mole.


The Museum of Cinema in Turin was born in 1941 from the project of the historic Maria Adriana Prolo: create a place to collect the documents of the film industry in Turin. Over the years the museum's heritage has been enriched by many new collections that illustrate the history of cinema and everything related to the historical photography and pre-cinema.
